Falls Downtown Fridays logo1. Falls Downtown Fridays (Cuyahoga Falls) 
Join us every Friday, as the City of Cuyahoga Falls presents a differently-themed, weekly block party featuring a variety of local beer, food, and retail shops. This Friday, the city presents River Rock Fest where rock music enthusiasts will gather to enjoy bands representing a diverse array of genres. On June 29, explore a marketplace with local artisans, creative entrepreneurs, and their handmade goods. Get more details.

2. 3rd Thursdays (Downtown Akron)
Take a free trolley ride to discover over 30 destinations that downtown Akron has to offer—from the Northside Market to Main and Exchange Streets for art, music, shopping, and dining during the third Thursday of every month from 4-8 p.m. This event introduces visitors and residents to independent destinations, events, and activities that have established downtown Akron as an arts and culture destination. Middlebury Wednesday logo3. Middlebury Wednesdays (Well Community Development Corporation in Akron)
The Well CDC invites you to come shop at the Hapi Fresh Farmer’s Market on six Wednesdays over the summer from 4 – 7 p.m. These events provide community members with an opportunity to discover locally grown foods, breweries, and listen to music at Compass Coffee. Get more details.

4. Historic Arts: Tuesdays YOUSday Mic-Hike (Akron Historic Arts District)
Join us every other Tuesday at 6 p.m., for a jam-packed evening of refuge for local and all-star artists to express themselves, get heard, and network! We hope to see you there, where everyone loves each other and giving back to the community to create art and meaning. Get more details.

Start getting prepared to take your kiddo back to school in the fall with the help of Akron-Summit County Public Library, as they present Paws for Reading the second Monday of every month. Bring your favorite book from home or check out one of ours, and help your kiddos practice their reading skills by reading aloud to our doggie pals. Children of all ages are welcome, and no registration is needed to attend this event. Get more details.
