Summit County COVID-19 Small Business Emergency Relief Grant Program
On Monday, May 11th Summit County Council voted to approve the next round of funding for the Summit County COVID-19 Small Business Emergency Relief Grant Program. In this round, individual entrepreneurs and gig workers are eligible to apply. This includes artists working in Summit County.
One million dollars has been contributed by the County of Summit to this fund to be administered by the Greater Akron Chamber. In addition to resources provided by the County, contributions by other stakeholders in the arts can be made to the fund to increase its direct reach to the Arts and Culture community.
ArtsNow has partnered with the Greater Akron Chamber to accept donations that will be restricted to artists and arts businesses in Summit County. We have set-up a donation page which allows supporters to donate to the fund and ensure 100% of their donation is contributed to supporting artists in Summit County. Every dollar allows the Greater Akron Chamber to add resources that will go specifically to artists in the county.
If you’ve been looking for a way to support working artists in our region, please consider contributing a gift to this fund.
You can contribute by following this link or by sending a check to ArtsNow 175 S. Main Street, Suite 100 Akron, Ohio 44308 and writing “Artist Relief” in the subject line.
On behalf of our creative entrepreneurs, we are so grateful for your support of artists working and making their home in Summit County.
