#StoriesbySummit Initiative Launches To Highlight Love For Living, Working, And Playing Summit County

Beginning Aug. 27 2018, and running until Sept. 3, 2018, arts and cultural institutions in Summit County will collaboratively ask their fans to share stories about why they love to live, play, or work in Summit County.

Community members will be asked one simple question, “Why Summit County?” The answers will be shared with the hashtag #StoriesBySummit across social media platforms and then used to populate an e-book to showcase all our community has to offer.

“We’re Summit County,” states Nicole Mullet, Executive Director of ArtsNow. “Our arts and culture organizations are improving the quality of life and making this community an entertainment destination—and we are thrilled to share and reflect on those positive stories and people of Summit County.”

Any community member who shares their story on a social public post using the hashtag #StoriesBySummit will be entered to win Summit-County-centered prizes. ArtsNow will randomly choose several winners at the end of the week.

Prizes will include:

  • Two $50 gift cards to Summit County restaurants
  • Two tickets to a show at the Civic
  • A one-night stay at the Northside Courtyard Marriot.
